Effective date: 2026-05-15 · Version 1.0 (beta)
DRAFT — pending legal review.
Scuba diving carries inherent risks, including but not limited to decompression sickness, drowning, equipment failure, marine life encounters, and injury or death.
By using DivePass, you confirm that:
- You hold a current scuba certification at the level required for the dives you log or plan.
- You are medically fit to dive and have no condition that would make diving unsafe.
- You use properly maintained equipment that is appropriate for the dive.
- You are solely responsible for all dive decisions — including but not limited to depth, time, gas mix, dive partner, and entry/exit points.
- DivePass is a logbook and directory only. We do not supervise dives, verify your credentials, recommend dive plans, or guarantee any operator's safety practices.
- You release DivePass and its founder from any claim arising from your scuba activities, to the extent permitted by law.
This acknowledgment supplements, but does not replace, the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
